Scottish football is now dominated by Celtic and Rangers, but it was not always so. It is little known that Strathbungo played a significant part in the development of Scottish football, and a team whose origins were firmly in the Strathbungo area defeated both Rangers and Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final, as well as winning the league title.
