Looking to move “home”

March 26th, 2009 at 6:44 pm (Notice Board) ~ Bungo Blog

When I say “home”, I actually mean the South Side.

Having moved away several years ago for a bout of country living, we’re looking to move back and are actively looking at property within Strathbungo.

With that being the case, is there any parent / toddler groups handy (my wife is pregnant) etc, to help integrate into the local community.

Looking through the website, it appears that Strathbungo is like a wee village within the South Side!

Strathbungo’s Spring Fling

March 17th, 2009 at 9:24 am (Strathbungo Society, Events) ~ Bungo Blog

This year’s spring event will be taking place at Queens Park Parish Church on:

Saturday 21st March
10.30-1.30

We are looking for as much home-baking as possible. Please bring it along on the day, from 10.30.

The highlight of the event will be the prize-giving for our children’s art competition but there will also be:

  • face-painting
  • spring crafts and badge-making
  • garden-themed tombola
  • lucky lollies
  • much more to be confirmed
  • and, as ever, our fantastic home baking

If you can volunteer to help out on the day, please contact tam@strathbungo.com or use the contact form to get in touch.

Hello - just wanted to flag up our website to you - Towards Transition Glasgow - we are trying to connect people across Glasgow to prepare for a low carbon future. Would appreciate it if you could flag the site up to your members.
We have also just put together a group to look after the two orchards in Queens Park.
Cheers
