If you have had a leaflet through your door today (24th feb) or recently asking you to leave out unwanted items for them to collect whereupon they will pass them on to the needy, I looked them up on the internet and it appears that they do no such thing.

The February 2009 meeting will be on Monday the 16th of February, 7:30pm at Grianach Café at 38 Nithsdale Road.
This summer, Glasgow City Council wants to close Newark Drive, Nithsdale Road and Pollokshields Nurseries and move all the children to a new early years centre on the site of the former Pollokshields Primary School Annexe building.
A campaign has started to save the nurseries where many children from Strathbungo have started their education. To read more visit www.savenewarkdrivenursery.org.
Busy Bees Craft Studio will be at Tapa Coffeehouse every Tuesday morning at 11am for a toddler painting and craft session. Cost is £3.50, per child (siblings are £2) and the parents can chat and have some lovely coffee at the same time.
