Last July we did a litter pick-up in conjunction with Proud of Pollokshields. Here are some photos of the litter-busters at the railway bridge after their hard work (click on each photo to see the full-size image). We’ll be doing a pick-up again this year, so keep your eyes open for details. They’ll be on this website and coming through your doors.

The name of the society shall be the Strathbungo Society (hereafter referred to as the Society)
Objects
- To advance citizenship and develop the community by encouraging all members of the community, including families, children, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities and the elderly to interact with the aim of improving the community both by bringing the community together and by promoting the provision, maintenance or improvement of public amenities within or in the vicinity of the Strathbungo area.; and
- To promote the conservation of local architectural and environmental heritage, including the maintenance and improvement of the built and natural environment.

The Southside Circle Dancers are holding a session this coming Saturday, 17th March – St Patrick’s Day – at the Queens Park Parish Church Hall, 170 Queens Drive from 12 noon – 2pm. Cost £5 minimum. Come along, celebrate St Patrick’s Day and welcome the new moon. Great fun and very gentle way of unwinding. No experience necessary. Beginners most welcome.
