Come along and meet your neighbours – tell us what you want for the Bungo!
Sumer is icumen in (more or less) and that means the gala season is upon us.
For Strathbungo, the big one is Bungo in the Back Lanes on Saturday, 24 June 2006. The main event is on from 1-4pm, but the Architectural Walk kicks off at 12.30 outside Sammy Dow’s.
As always, the Strathbungo Society is laying on the beer tents and all that jazz (featuring Joe McGinley and Jazz Co), but what makes BiBL Scotland’s all-out community event is what you and your neighbours bring to it. So set up shop at your back gate. We’re looking for bric’a'brac, crafts, games, art exhibitions, barbecues, whatever you fancy.
Make some cash for yourself – or raise funds for your favourite charity. But whatever you do, save 24 June – Midsummer’s day – for Strathbungo, and make sure your friends and family come along too!
